We are pleased to announce that six new companies have joined ACT FOR SKY.
New ACT members: Companies directly involved in the domestic SAF as a business, etc.

| Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology | Conduct research and development related to stable supply of SAF raw materials such as inedible oil plants and microalgae and SAF production. Establishment of the "Open Platform on International Environmental Certification and New Raw Material Development for Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) (SAF-OP)" in April 2024 to promote research, development, and commercialization of SAF made from pongamia and other raw materials in collaboration with industry, academia, and government for social implementation. |
| Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd. | 1. We will contribute to the realization of a carbon neutral society by playing a role in the production, diffusion and expansion of domestically produced SAF, utilizing the knowledge we have accumulated in Japan and overseas. 2. Sumitomo SHI FW (SFW), a subsidiary of Sumitomo Corporation, is a pioneer in circulating fluidized bed technology and has effective technology for SAF production, and is still participating in many European SFW is also participating in a number of European funded projects. SFW is based in Finland, which has some of the world's leading companies and institutions in this field, such as Neste Oil and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, and can provide useful information for domestic SAF production. |

With the new members, we will further strengthen our activities to promote and expand the SAF and continue to work for the development of Japan's aviation network and the industry as a whole, as well as for the realization of a sustainable society.
