[ASTM] International Standards Seminar in Japan Scheduled for February 2027!!
"Toward a Sustainable Future for Aviation: Let’s Work Together to Set the Standard for the SAF Era"
"ASTM" is the international standard that ensures the safety requirements essential for the use of SAF as jet fuel. ASTM will be holding its first-ever seminar in Japan. This is a valuable opportunity for everyone involved in SAF to gain essential knowledge. We invite broad participation from those involved in business development, technology development, manufacturing, and end users, with the goal of expanding the use and adoption of SAF in Japan. ACT FOR SKY is supporting the hosting of this seminar in Japan through its Working Group 4.
In this seminar, experts directly involved in the development of international standards for aviation fuel and synthetic jet fuel (SATF) under ASTM will explain the latest trends and standardization processes amid significant changes in the aviation fuel landscape.
We will cover a wide range of topics, including the role ASTM standards play in the aviation fuel supply chain, the mechanisms enabling sustainable jet fuels to enter the market, evaluation and management methods utilizing these standards, and key technical issues from the perspective of engine and aircraft manufacturers.
We will also provide an opportunity to network with ASTM leadership.
This is an excellent opportunity for everyone involved in the aviation fuel sector to witness this transformative period in standards and take the first step as future “stakeholders.”
We hope you will join us.
