Japan Airport Building Co.
Japan Airport Building was established in 1953 under the philosophy of "Harmony of public and corporate nature" as the first privately owned company in Japan to construct, manage, and operate passenger terminals at Haneda Airport. Since then, we have played a part in the development of the airline industry for more than 70 years as a pioneer in the management of privately owned airport terminal buildings. As the gateway to Japan's skies, where people, goods, and culture come and go, we will continue to take on the challenge of creating airports that move people's hearts under our long-term vision "To Be a World Best Airport".
Toward the realization of carbon neutrality in 2050, we are promoting decarbonization at the terminal through energy conservation measures at terminal facilities, as well as research and studies on the use of hydrogen and other next-generation energy sources. In addition, to contribute to the decarbonization of the entire airport, we are studying various reduction measures, including future innovative technologies, and have started studying the establishment of a supply chain to supply and sell SAF as a reduction measure in the area of aircraft operations.
As the passenger terminal of Haneda Airport, the gateway to Japan's skies, we will join "ACT FOR SKY" and contribute to raising awareness and expanding use of SAF.
