Japan Green Power Development Co.

As a business that contributes to the realization of a sustainable society through the spread of renewable energy, we are involved in all phases of solar power plant construction projects, from planning to construction and operation, and have developed, constructed, maintained, and operated approximately 20 solar power generation facilities with a total generation capacity of 350MWp in Hokkaido, Chiba, and Kagoshima prefectures. We are also involved in the development, construction, maintenance and operation of solar power generation facilities in Hokkaido, Chiba and Kagoshima prefectures. In addition, we are developing biomass power plants and the world's first SAF business using "substandard coconuts" as a new business.

We are building a business model in which non-standardized coconuts that do not compete for food, mainly from Indonesia and the Philippines, are processed locally into CCO (Crude Coconut Oil), exported to Japan, and then manufactured and sold as neat SAF in Japan. We are also developing a process for producing neat SAF, and are developing a customized CCO catalyst that takes advantage of the unique carbon content of CCO, which is close to that of jet fuel. The Japanese government has announced a policy to replace 10% of aviation fuel with SAF by 2030. We believe that the production of SAF from substandard coconuts will help solve this problem, and we plan to commercialize SAF by 2030 based on our proprietary technology.
