JGC Holdings Corporation
Founded in 1928, the JGC Group, centered on JGC Holdings Corporation and its five major subsidiaries, is a corporate group whose raison d'etre is "Enhancing planetary health. The JGC Group is a group of companies with the corporate mission of "Enhancing planetary health", centering on two business segments: the comprehensive engineering business that covers a wide range of business areas, and the functional materials manufacturing business supported by our unique technologies.
The JGC Group, together with Cosmo Oil Co., Ltd. and Revo International Corporation, aims to quickly establish a supply chain from the procurement of raw materials to the supply of domestically produced SAF, using waste cooking oil discharged from restaurants and food factories in Japan. The project is being implemented as part of a NEDO-funded project, and a production facility with an annual capacity of 30,000 kiloliters is being constructed on the premises of Cosmo Oil's Sakai Refinery, with the aim of starting SAF production in 2025. We will contribute to the decarbonization of the aviation industry by leveraging our project management expertise accumulated in various parts of the world, based on our Purpose, "Enhancing Planetary Health".
