Since 1995, we have been a pioneer in the field of biodiesel fuel derived from waste cooking oil, and over the years we have built up a unique track record. Our company has an integrated system that includes research and development of biofuels, manufacturing, sales, fuel conversion plant sales, and engineering business, etc. Furthermore, we also take care of waste cooking oil, which is the most important part of biofuel commercialization, and have established a nationwide take-back system for even a single ton of cans.
While studies and demonstrations for the use of SAF are underway, the cost of production and stable supply remain issues, and there is an urgent need to establish an economical domestic system for SAF production and a stable value chain from raw material procurement to use.
First, with the support of the participating companies, we will work to establish a value chain in Japan for the next-generation aviation fuel "SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel)" made from waste cooking oil, and to start operation of SAF production facilities and full-scale commercialization of SAF by the end of 2024. We will work to establish a value chain for SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel), a next-generation aviation fuel made from oil.
