JAL Group conducted a Sustainable Challenge Flight on JL6 from Haneda to New York for a week from September 14 (Thu) to 20 (Wed), as the second round of sustainable charter flights on the Tokyo (Haneda) - Okinawa (Naha) route, which was conducted last November. During this period, the quadrennial SDG Summit was held for two days (September 18-19) at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. To coincide with this event, JAL arranged this flight to provide a "Sustainable Future Journey" experience for the participants in the summit and for our customers visiting New York during the summit period.
