Biomaterial in Tokyo Co.
Since our founding in 2006, we have been conducting research and implementing the results of that research into society based on the principle of "Contribute to a decarbonized society! Since our founding in 2006, we have conducted research and implemented the results of that research into society under the principle of "contributing to a decarbonized society! While developing technologies to utilize biomass and food materials, we have focused on building a sustainable society and established a stable production technology for second-generation bioethanol by recovering carbohydrates from waste materials such as forest residue, rice straw, coffee grounds, waste fungus beds, and waste paper. Currently, we are producing bio-ethylene from that bio-ethanol and conducting research on the production of bioplastics and SAF.

In March 2025, as part of a NEDO project, a plant to produce domestically produced second-generation bioethanol and an ATJ facility capable of producing SAF will be located on the same site to begin integrated operation. At the same time, in order to obtain CORSIA certification, we will register as an ISCC member in 2023 and are working hard to obtain certification. We will continue to focus on SAF production using waste-based raw materials.
In addition, bits will continue to work with ACT and SKY members to raise awareness of SAF and to promote and educate the public about SAF so that SAF, which will become essential in the future, will be accepted by society as a whole as soon as possible.
