San-Ai Oburi Corporation
In 1955, Sanai Oburi began fueling aircraft with Japan's first hydrant system (a system that pumps aviation fuel to aircraft via underground pipelines). Since then, with the development of Haneda Airport, we have expanded the hydrant system, added oil storage tanks, and constructed a pier to receive aviation fuel. With an eye on the future of Haneda Airport as it continues to develop, we are working to build a safer and more reliable aviation fuel supply system.

We began accepting SAF by tanker and tanker truck in 2020, when we were in the demonstration phase in Japan, and have so far provided SAF refueling to domestic and foreign airlines and government aircraft. In addition, as part of our efforts to decarbonize the airport, we have introduced renewable diesel fueling vehicles and installed solar panels at our aviation fueling facilities. We will continue to promote decarbonization efforts and capacity expansion in preparation for increasing demand at the airport, thereby contributing to enhancing SAF's international standing as a sustainable airport and, by extension, to improving demand and supply capacity at SAF.
