The Tridor Group operates 1,000 restaurants in Japan and more than 700 restaurants overseas, with Marugame Seimen, a Sanuki udon specialty restaurant, as its main business category. In 1985, the company founded a yakitori izakaya (barbecued chicken restaurant), and in 2000 changed its main business category to Marugame Seimen, and in 2008 was listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Today, the company operates a wide range of food and beverage brands including Hawaiian cafes, tonkatsu, curry, and ramen. Under the slogan "Fill the planet with the excitement of food. Under the slogan of "Fill this planet with the excitement of food," we aim to become the one and only global food company originating from Japan.

The Tridor Group has identified "ESG materiality (key issues)" as a particular priority among its wide range of initiatives, and has included "resource recycling" among them. In the past, more than 99% of waste oil from Marugame Noodles has been recycled and turned into livestock feed and other products.
This time, as a new initiative, we will participate in this project on the realization of decarbonization of the airline industry in cooperation with ACT FOR SKY participating companies.
